In order to stop myself from ranting, I'll briefly say the theme that stands out for me is fake peace and happiness in society that's actually a cover for 'divide and conquer'. A FACADE (Factionless, Abnegation, Candor, Amity, Dauntless, Erudite). I don't know if this was really a pun intended, but it's neat.

I would say the books theme is taking over the rulers who treat you badly. Like in The maze runner or Hunger games

Hm, the question was 'What is the theme of Divwrgent?' Almost all answers were 'The theme is...' followed by mentions of themes. I don't really get how those don't answer it, is there some kind of misunderstanding here?
