Ooh Elias you could start a war over there with the people that are on the wiki.
🙂
This is my favorite emoji. I use it when I want to convey innocence
Well, I'm personally not a fan of humor that relies on putting something down in favor of something else, or the idea to get reactions, and I relate to those who would react poorly. I'd definitely not like there to be a war, hopefully there is no need to explain, and last time it was mentioned here, mulitple global blocks ensued. I really don't think it's a good idea.
Hopefully I'm again taking it too seriously, it could be amusing to me knowing one doesn't enjoy fandom wars and poor reactions and it's for good fun, as I believe it is.
If I were to react to the meme, my response would be this (heck if I know whether it's supposed to be a serious or a joking tone):
Of course, neither author was writing their book at at time they could have the possibility of seeing the other one, so 'copy' isn't it. And I do wish it was cheaper than what I see in stores.
^ i agree! i love both divergent and thg, and i think they're pretty different.
I do too. Their similarities are ones that are part of their genre (corrupt government, war, the type of protagonist), and for me at least they are more noticable when we just read about the books, but while reading them, I was immersed in two very different atmospheres, emotions, plots.
I realize that my comment could've probably been interpreted as me encouraging Elias to start a war. I meant a more cautionary tone.
I noticed it could sound like both, but I did believe you meant it as caution. I also wanted to warn of possible events rather than to say either of you wanted them, and I guess I got a little scared seeing the mention of a war on FANDOM, especially since we've had the experience with it I spoke of. I of course hope it won't lead to any hostility. I'd choose to take it as fun and wouldn't react that way myself, but I'd feel a bit bummed for what it says.
So, from my understanding, we can post any memes here?
So far it's been Divergent-related memes, and I didn't mean to change that if that's what you're saying, just to have one post instead of separate ones for every month, as there aren't many memes.
Oh I get it. I misunderstood the off topic post conversation
What do you think?
