I like the drawing a lot. It matches book descriptions, so either it was made before the movies, or the author preferred to stick to the novels (and has the ability not to be affected by the films that I don't lol).

It's true I haven't been too inspired by Divergent when it comes to visual fanart, I'm more inspired to discuss ir or write about it. I feel like it'd go smoother if I was given an at least somewhat substantial topic, and if it isn't something super common such as Fourtris, for example. This is why I found the idea of contests or at least giving prompts for some sort of art on Discord or here, but I don't know how many people would be interested. I found it nice when Yeahsure spontaneously gave us a meme topic for the monthly meme post, but I always procrastinated suggesting to continue that.

With me, I love fanart, but I’m obviously a terrible artist and I don’t enjoy making art anyways, but I do enjoy the art you share on discord a lot and the art I find on tumblr (there is a really cool page there with a lot of THG fanart I found). Another thing I like about fanart is that movie descriptions are nonexistent, and it’s nice to see the characters like how they were described in the books.

At this point though I'm pretty affected by the movies, and I've seen them more times than I've read the books, so that's how I would spontaneously draw characters.

If creating art doesn't fit you personally, and we ever did give topics somewhere, maybe we could make it so that both original and others' art is allowed as long as we credit the authors.
