Well, my parents took my phone because they didn't like that i downloaded whatsapp on my phone, and they also found out about fandom, and while they don't exactly approve of it they wanted me to tell them. And they have my phone, i dont want it blowing up with notifications with my old account, so i signed into this account on my school chromebook

Thanks for telling us. Sorry about your situation. Baffled that this out of all sites is seen as unfavorable, it goes out of its way not to be (imo often exaggeratedly). And this community here is, I hope, a good example.

Yeah my parents are wary of social sites in general and the psychological effects they have

^^Like I said, I think this site out of all is really trying not to be 'unsavory', sometimes so much that it disaproves of or even bans people for things that I see as good fun myself. Yeah, it varies from community to community, but if reported, it will be dealt with. And I definitely hope tihs community can't be described that way.

^I see what they mean, I actually straight up dislike online/technology communication far more often than younger generations generally do, and I see many psychologically bad things about it. But I don't think absolute ban is the solution, I feel that cures the symtopms rather than the disease, and it's one of those cases where I think discussing and experiencing the issue is much more likely to teach us how to handle it properly than simply never mentioning it (another reason why I'm at odds with this site's policy as well, so it somehow seems the site is more on your parents' side than I am),
