I made this Collage, of the Factionless symbol that was worn on their Sleeves. In the Allegiant Movie.
And as you can see it's not the same as the Factionless Symbol in the books (Which is a "Circle")
What do you think the movie versions Symbol symbolises?
And what does it look like to you?
I was thinking maybe it's like an industrial thing, Or/Plus it kind of looks like a wheel (Or the top bit of a Windmill) Maybe it's representing, "Making things go round" "making things work" - Like the Factionless is what keeps thinks going round, and the Factionless do the most work?
What are your further thoughts? on this?
And which Factionless Symbol do you prefer?
- The Book one? (The Circle)
- Or the Movie one? (This one here)

... One this I only just noticed is that, this symbol is also in Insurgent, I used to this this symbol was designed for and at the time of Allegiant.
I took the picture - I only noticed it the other day.
This was right at the end of Insurgent, I wonder if it was suppose to be an ester egg for the next movie?
I’m glad it never got written though. It was a deleted scene that was only available on paperback copies, but I had a hardback.

“10-21. Ok yea that was a large chunk of reading. And LOTS happened. Tobias attacking his father gave me chills. Like the book said, he clearly wasn't suddenly angry, he had plans for this and was calculated. Calculated people are often more dangerous than just angry ones. Though I guess choosing to do that is a type of anger. Just a slower, longer-lasting one.

UGH
Tris and Christina's falling out was sad to watch. Analyzing who was in the wrong or the right and could've done things better doesn't really makes sense as it's much more complex than that. Plus, and it's easy to forget, but they are both still kids who went through some heavy stuff. In most arguments you're gonna see both sides having done something wrong and should have done something better.”
Hi! I'm new here. I'm a big fan of Divergent (books, movies, everything). My name is Diana. I'm a candor born, but I transfer to Erudite. I got aptitude for Erudite, and a little of Dauntless. Tris is my favorite character.
Anyway. I remeber than, on Insurgent, Tris once said than theres Holidays than only Abnegation celebrates. That makes me think. So, here is my question: What do you think those Holidays are? And, of course, what Holidays do you think the other factions celebrate?
Please answer, I really want to know what do you guys think about this.
Thanks for reading!
Lol I don’t wanna explain, so comment below and tell me if this makes sense.
2019: Divergent
2020: Insurgent
2021: Allegiant
2017: Four
2026: We Can Be Mended
You know you see thoughts comments like “Why is nobody talking about ....”?
And all the time those things have been mentioned before 😂
Well I think I found something that literally hasn’t
So I’m,a talk about it lol
First, Did anyone think Max didn’t die?
At first I thought she just shot him, we never heard anything else about it.
2nd: The characters don’t talk about it, I would’ve thought the other Dauntless’s would’ve been after Lynn, but this seems to be forgotten (Usually I don’t mind things going unmentioned because I can figure it out myself or I understand that somethings don’t have to be written - but TBH I’m surprised she literally shot him and that was it) a part of me gets it’s because of the fast pace and every other thing going on, but like not one mention for this huge thing? I’m not a bit confused by it
3rd: I wonder what was going through Lynns head? I’m guessing she planned it before going. But I wonder what the reason really was specifically
I know many people would say “Everything” or what scenes from the book they’d want to see in the movie. But that’s not what I mean.
Small subtle changes to an existing scene, that could perhaps tell the story better. (Without adding to the duration)
Here’s one of mine:
When they went to Factionless they were eating a fine cooked meal,
I would change the way they’re eating and have it like in the book, eating in a circle out of tins and sharing it, passing it around the circle.
and although I love the part in the movie when Caleb was like “Well this food looks lovely” and then digs in after Fours outburst, it was funny. Somehow that would still have to be in there.
I'm also reading the book at the same time. So I read the book earlier today and decided to watch the movie. I'm over here laughing cause in some parts the movie is WAY more different from the book. Sometimes its so different I have no idea what part I'm on. Anyone relate?
Little joke: Me jumping off the dock into water.
Me: I'M DAUNTLESS!
Okay, so I was watching Insurgent with my friend the other day, and in the few scenes where Caleb is running, we started bursting out laughing. He just runs in... a weird way, I don't know how to put it. Ansel Elgort has even said that he runs that way on purpose for the character. Does anybody else agree that his running is hilarious? For those who haven't seen the movie, here's a clip:

(Oh and then there's Tobias' jump at the end that I love)
A lot of it is Eric, but there are some scenes that show it. Let me know what you think!

I watched the Darkest Minds movie, and Naomi Watts (Evelyn) looks a lot like Cate aka Mandy Moore (the darkest minds). Idk if it's just me...
It's possibly their hair, but I'm not sure
Evelyn - Naomi Watts (Divergent):
Cate - Mandy Moore (The Darkest Minds):
(This is something I thought of posted ages ago, and recent conversations reminded me of it lol)
One of mind was in the first book Divergent.
Because I watched the movie first it helped me picture the scenes and characters (So I never forgot who was who), and the fact I watched it first helped me read the book more flowingly
(ok that’s not a word, but it’s the perfect word ok lol)
The scene where Lynn stands on Tris’ toes (which I forgot about straight away until VR mentioned it in an interview that it was one of her fave scenes)
That whole scene, because it was one of few scenes that weren’t in the movie at all. And because Lynn wasn’t in the movie, and I got confused as to what was going on it was kind of hard to picture, them all in the train and going up the elevator ect.
(But I picture it ok now)
Lynn & Marlene was kind of hard to picture, but I pictured her fine in Insurgent (I had watched Insurgent, but I never noticed that was Lynn, Uriah, Marlene when I first watched it lol)
But I always pictured and remembered Uriah fine.
So yeah that’s mine
The second in Insurgent
(And This sounds weird)
But when Tobias was washing Tris’ feet in the bath tub, Some parts were just hard to picture,
I was like where are they?
Is Tris sat on the edge of the tub, and Tobias is in it, with his trousers rolled up, with the bloody water under his feet?
Or does he still have his shoes on?
Are they both nakey now?
Like I don’t know lol
