@Rachael Buchanan-Santibañez Thanks glad you liked it. I know it was a bit rambled and scattery.

As for your question I feel like Four had mentioned things his dad had taught him in all the books, I can’t quite fully remember too many specifics I wish I added it in this post, the main thing I remember is fixing cars and driving cars, which I believe was in Allegiant. In the book Four: Divergent Collection Cars may of been mentioned again, and how to use a razor, anything else is kind of a blur but it would be about math or science related stuff and recognising it. I do remember in Four (and maybe Allegiant) he spoke about the librarian of his school teaching him about computers among those pages he spoke about what Marcus taught him.

Rest In Peace Ray :'(

Ray Stevenson (Marcus) had passed away on Sunday,

I came across this a few days ago, when reading something else, and saw his picture in the other stories and I was like "That kinda looks like Marcus, is it Marcus?" Clicked on it to find that he had passed away aged 58

Now sure on the cause yet, but he visited the hospital several days before his death.

It is very sad news especially since he had lots of plans and was in the middle of working on a film.

And to make it worse it would've been his birthday tomorrow, So that's gonna making his passing even harder to his family and friends, So my thoughts are with them.

Everybody can go back to disagreeing with equality, wanting division and believe that one mean action is ok towards one group as long as it doesn't happen to the others.

And pigeon-holeling everybody.

Me, I prefer a world where we aren't defined by one individual part of us and we are all mixed, and people don't deny other peoples hardships or bad experiences and sweep them under the rug and where people know that if you don't like something done and said to you, you should know it's not right to do to others.

So yeah, adios, I'm gonna drown myself in my bottles of gin, because it's a much better place

I dont think you are sorry, I think that you think it's fine it happened to me.

As I said I'm not reading them.

The comparison thing I was doing I don't think you're getting.

It was by your logic saying that because something is small in comparison to others it doesn't exist.

So I was saying that by that logic my individual personal experience didn't exist because comparing it to other individuals experiences, my experience was minor compared to people with even darker skin than mine, especially from decades ago when things were worse.

I was also saying that by that logic the rocks that hurt me it was allowed, because it wasn't me throwing rocks at them, it was them throwing it to me.

.... it's back to when I was saying if one is wrong they both are.

For example in this case,

If an A person threw a rock at me, that's not right.

If a B person threw a rock at me that shouldn't be right either

But it seems like people think it would be okay

When I was little I used to wish I was white. Do you know what that means? It means even as a kid I saw that they barely faced any hardships.

Yes as a matter of fact I do, I've only accepted my skin colour a few years ago, I always felt like I should be white.

Like I've said i've had rocks thrown at me and my windows smashed this was an act of racism. I have had other things said to me that really upset, I won't say what they were because you'd just think it's ok, or you'd disagree with me and my feelings

What you are saying is completely and unfathomably ridiculous. Sure, white people can face racism in certain places but you cannot be out here saying they face more than others. Racism is REAL.

NOBODY SAID IT WAS "MORE"

But that's fine you think it's okay,

You can hate me if you want, because I'm half white half brown, come over hear and set me on fire because I have brown skin.

But it's okay because it won't be racist and it's allowed because I have white in. We won't count it as an attack

Really don't understand how you got that from what I said, nothing is wrong with being gay nothing at all. But if someone is straight there's nothing wrong with that either, it's it's not nice to wanna turn someone.

And I don't know why the hell you are sending me links about racism. I am FULLY aware it still exists, did you just choose to ignore the part where I said i've had rocks thrown at me whilst they were shouting racist names at me, I had my window smashed last year because I'm not one of them.

When I said about how I don't know it's like for victims of racism decades ago compared to now, I was talking about the comparison wasn't I, me being brown now is fine (except a few racist people but the non -racist far weight out the racist) but compared to decades ago I would be treated a lot worse, wouldn't I.

It was the comparison thing, which you started thinking just because one is small it doesn't exist, I was saying just because my experience was small compared to others that meant it didn't exist, and the rocks that hurt me was allowed because others have had it worse

mean as a white person if someone said "i hate white people" i would not care like it doesn't matter, because i've never been made fun of for my skin colour and i will never have to genuinely worry about my skin colour. at the same time, i see that it would be completely different if someone said the same thing about a person of colour.

But see that's just it, you're only seeing how it links to you, and you're putting everyone in the same category.

I really couldn't care less if someone said "brown people are idiots" but that doesn't mean another individual might be offended.

And it's not impossible for white people to be offended by the statement and whether you believe it or not white people can be subject to racism, I've seen and heard it with my own eyes as a little girl. And my friends family had issues when they lived in their native south Africa.

So yeah, things are just tied to one thing, and you can't deny what does happen to people in the world just because you've not gone through it

Ah so you define people by their sexuality, so do you like ask people if they're straight when you meet them? So you know whether to be wary of them or not.

In my world we are all people and whether your gay or straight anyone is capable of doing things one should be wary about, straight people are not the monster and gay and straight people co-exist without sexuality ever being an issue, because a sexuality it not a personality or behavioural trait

But it's not like that for every gay person.

And that's not what im saying, you're only looking at this one way,

You don't know what it's like for people to call you gay when you're not, it's not nice to not want to accept you as straight, when you are and to have people want to change you and convince you otherwise. That is wrong of an individual to do to another individual, but you think it's okay because it's not a big issue compared to someone telling a gay person they should be straight.

As for the quote, yes, if it's wrong to want to change someones sexuality from gay to straight it is wrong to want to change someone from straight to go.

But no maybe you're right, everything is one-sided, and one side is allowed to do wrong but when when another does the exact same thing, it's fully allowed and dismissed.

I bet when I had rocks thrown at me and was called racist names, wasn't racist at all because it was white doing it to black, it was black doing it to brown, but it's OK and good even, because I will never know what it was like for those who are a different colour to me in a different decade

I'm only saying this because my friend told me too:

He is 100% gay, and he's never seen or heard anything homophobic in person in his life, and he's not oppressed, he said online people call that "because he's privileged" he says no "He just lives in a modern world where we aren't defined by our sexuality"

The only time either of us have heard of someone being homophobic (not including news stories) was what our colleague had went through when he was a boy - But that was in the 1970's, i'm guessing y'all are wondering what point i'm trying to make, I think what he is saying is not all gay people experience the same thing or think the same way, And gay men in the 1970's had it 1000 times harder than we do now, but that doesn't mean that homophobia isnt still wrong today just because it's extremely small as a whole compared to decades or even century's ago. So why would hetrophobia (This includes the strong hatred, exclusion, pre-judgements and because they arw straight accepting that they are straight and wanted to change them) be okay just because it's much smaller compared to homophobia.

There's actually a lot about this topic I want to add to but I won't, TBH I do find this all very triggering for me for many reasons.

So I'm just gonna explain the deletion: Which I thought was understood It`s not WHAT you were asking it was the way it was written (1) it came off as a hate post (which is not allowed) if the post was written as the opposite thing - swap the words where you wrote "gay" and "straight" it would be offensive and very wrong and would definitely get deleted, we can't condone ill-mannered thoughts written towards one group and have it be only wrong to do so for the rest, because where would that eventually lead? We are all people and we all have feelings.

Anyway now I'm getting off - track, and this leads me to my main point of why it got deleted, the post was geared like it would open a can of worms to an off - topic debate that could ultimately lead to arguments and people getting up set, this is the main reason it got deleted.And I rest my case

@PancakeQueen12304 It was a whole 5 years later though, the two have been fully single for 5 years and surpressing their feelings for each other between that time, until they finally decided to let themselves live and think of themselves, Christina's actually probably the best person for him.

I think that even if Tris was still alive, and they broke up (Which I have a theory they would down the line) There would be nothing wrong with Christina dating Tobias.

I often joke that "Tris owes Christina a boyfriend, since she killed hers" :D

If Will was still alive there's a chance they'd still be together, but Tris robbed her of that and somehow, Christina dating her best friend's boyfriend from teen-hood is worse?

They are two available people who mutually like and understand each other, they both waited long enough, they are now in their twentys and they are more than "dating" they're living together
