I do agree though, it never hurts to be cautious of the things you say online, especially with more serious topics. That's also why I strongly believe dark humor or jokes that could be taken the wrong way should always have a /j or /nsrs/ or /lh or /t or whatever, buuuut tone indicators and tone in general is another topic itself, so I won't go down that rabbit hole.

Normally our school year is late August to early June, so we usually start around the 25th and end around the 10th

Ugh yeah I totally agree. I think part of the reason why THG is less discussion-based is because Kat left lol, she'd make like 5 posts per day, almost all of them revolving around discussion, I think the mods even told her to stop one time because she was posting too much. I actually put in my mod application form that I hoped to make the discussions board more about, well, discussions, but I keep on forgetting to do that, I probably should.

And samee, one time I made a ranking of Taylor Swift songs on the TS wiki, it took me like 3 hours, and literally no one responded 😭

That's also why whenever I comment on fanfics, I always try to point out a specific thing that I enjoyed about it, or make a joke, instead of just saying "nice writing," but I'm terrible with advice and compliments so it's kinda hard sometimes, which sounds really bad but I literally just like the writing?? Like there's a good plot and nice detail and all of that, what else do I say lmao-
