So I'm going to keep this short, which I ultimately feel bad about, but I feel as though now is the time to officially announce my departure from the wiki (even though I've already been active for quite some time). This community is pretty much dead, and I have been less interested in the series, so I have decided now is officially the time for me to be demoted of my Administrator right.

This was the first wiki I joined a few years back, and for that I am grateful for all of the friends I've made here, especially Emmy, who was my first wiki friend and someone I will dearly miss.

I will still be active on THG wiki, where I have discussion moderator rights, so feel free to reach out to me there (although most of you are already active there).

As always, faction before blood.

So, a map is something that exists on other wikis (I'll comment with the Hunger Games wiki one for example). I don't know how to make them, and I think that is something that is up to the admin. But anyway, I think it would be cool to have a real map of Chicago with, for example, the link for the Hub page be on the real tower. (My Chicago geography isn't great). What do you think?

Now that I've got more time on my hands, it's time to re-visit Project Divergent wiki. I have been very busy lately on THG wiki which is a handful obviously, but I got it under control. If Veggie is promoted to Content mod, we will have another staff member to help out with this, and he'll probably be a good fit to remake the front page.

If y'all remember, project divergent wiki is simply what I wanted to do when I became an admin on this wiki. It's main goal is simple. To get more traffic on here and permanent users who are active and engaged. How do we accomplish that? I'm not entirely sure yet. Once Emmy is back and/or if Veggie is promoted to C-mod, I hope to begin this.

Stage 1 of the plan is to reorganize the activeness of users already on this wiki. If you have any suggestions for events and posts that can engage the current users here, let me know.

Stage 2 will be to edit the front page, which if Veggie is promoted he will be in charge of. If he isn't promoted, I'm fine helping out with that due to my editing experiences on this wiki and others.

And lastly stage 3 will be to have more users become permanent on this wiki. I hope that by a year from now, this wiki will be as active as thg wiki (THG wiki is a moderate activeness level currently and would be perfect for this wiki). We must remember that doing this we need to keep some old values and make new ones. That means it's good to keep our deep discussions about the factions, but in order to get more traffic on the d-boards (which Yeahsure can be in charge of if she wants) we need to also have some more fun activities and games, like thg wiki (though hopefully it doesn't get as immature as thg wiki).

So I have an idea for a new discussions category that will probably make this wiki cleaner. It's "Creative" or something like that. It encompasses fanfics, ocs, fanart, etc. Thanks!

I have someone from Hunger Games wiki who will begin reading the Divergent series soon, and she is thinking out joining this wiki to share her thoughts, but she is worried about spoilers, so I am warning everyone to try to hide spoilers.

It was tricky to decide about the rollback poll as I was unsure which votes to count, and both options have a similar percentage. If we count the votes of Divergent72 and Divergentfan72, and no one else who is inactive, then @PrincessAphrodite wins by one vote. So...if anyone has something against it, may they speak now or be silent forever (lol sorry, in an official announcement...). Meanwhile here's an early congratulations from me, and the same thing I said about Lily's function.

I had the idea to create one, where users could write their own content: fanmade characters, factions etc. So I checked if it already exists and it does, however it's been inactive since 2016. I thought I could join instead of making a new one so that it isn't closed as a duplicate.

I posted to ask if I could post my content there and invite others to do the same, if admins and mods would be active again, and if not if someone else could adopt the wiki. I received no repsonse for about a week, so I took the liberty of creating my content there, with another message for them to delete it if they mind it. If you wish, you can also post your fan creations, and we could basically use that wiki as the fanon version of this (I dobt they'd mind now that they haven't been active for years).

I'm sadly currently not elligible to adopt it (that is, be given admin rights by FANDOM) since there needs to be at least 90 days since I was last given admin rights, which isn't the case (I became admin on Madagascar wiki at the start of this month). So, if any of you is willing to contribute to the wiki and then apply to adopt it (here are the requirements: https://community.fandom.com/wiki/Adoption:Requests) , you can; if you aren't up for remaining an admin for a long time, I could take over once you give me the rights.

I've just created the page for my faction Condolence, that's the only thing that's mine for now.

As you may know, FANDOM decided to put into use a new look for its wikis, known as FandomDesktop skin. It was eventually, gradually, going to be implemented on all wikis, and it seems it has been on ours too. The idea is now to either import the old background theme again or create a new one.

We've spoken of this before, and several users stated they don't have a preference and are willing to go with the option that is easier for the admins to perform. So this is to inform the community that I will attempt to do so, you're welcome to comment on the results and different ideas you may have.

EDIT: Okay, for some reason the Theme Designer is acting as if the previous backgrounds have never been saved, so I have to manually insert the old backgrounds back, which means I also have to find them somewhere. Since I'm currently working on it, I will need to change the further part of the post every time I accomplish something new, I feel it's less confusing than adding onto it, that's why so many edits.
