I love my Alan . The one who is the lieutenant for max( I made up the name) . I know that you don’t think that he is worth of loving because he is only a background character but I still choose to fall for him. I don’t like four , I don’t like Eric and max. The only man I love in the movie is him
What's on your mind?

What is one scene from the movies you would change, whether it's deleting it or adding a scene from the books, or changing it to fit the books?
I kinda stole the idea from tmr wiki, which was stolen from thg wiki :|
Jeanine states that 'human nature is the enemy'. This would make sense in the books, where she's aware of the experiment and the meaning of Divergence. But in the movies, she isn't, so she must believe that being non-Divergent is natural. This would make her statement kind of contradictory, as she thinks Divergence is the enemy, what gives people the ablity to 'excersize their free will', and she said the same about human nature. Yet, from her (movie) point of view, it is non-Divergence that is human nature, and Divergence is unnatural. Leaving this statement the same as in the books makes it contradictory to her attitude in the movies, where she only knows what regular Chicagoans know, which is pretty much the opposite from what the Bureau and the leaders (in the book) know.
A basic comment, but somehow turned into a typical yeahsure essay 😂
In the movie Allegiant one of the first spoken lines are:
“What are you afraid of heights” if you’re not familiar with the first movie/the books, you wouldn’t actually think much of this line, you wouldn’t think that Four is afraid of heights, he’s fine when climbing the edge of that wall at the beginning and he even looks down at the ground as he’s climbing. A person afraid of heights wouldn’t do this, especially that comfortably like it’s no big deal.
As an actor I feel like Theo should’ve done some subtle changes to show his fear of heights - whilst powering through, like going tense, holding his breath, closing his eyes for a second when he was on the flat before stepping up. A slight tremble of his hands for a few seconds as his taking a new grip.
2nd: I’m not sure why I never thought about his fear of heights when climbing the big Great Wall........ (When I thought about it during the climb in the opening scene)
But when it comes to ascending and descending the Great Wall (that divides the City from the outside) he does it with confidence and jumps down easily, ascends with ease, like he’s done it a ton, he in know way looks like a person with the fear at all. So we’ve already forgotten he has it.
I just thought, maybe it should’ve been Tori who jumped back down to get Caleb, I know we wanna see Theo be an action star but maybe this moment could’ve gone to another. And she’s be a Dauntless the longest so it makes sense.
In the book Allegiant I remember his fear came up a couple of times. When jumping down, it was described, so I wish that would’ve translated on screen too. And it’s a change that wouldn’t effect the duration, so there’s no reason not to include this feeling because it keeps the continuity of the character.
It’s almost like the film makers of Allegiant wanted to put in a tiny effect to make you Remember his arc in the previous movies but then seconds later they just erased it.... weird.
Anyone else thought about this?
My father got the insurgent movie at library and I want to know you thoughts on the movie
(y’all might remember me I joined a loooong time ago then never came on. Oh well )
I thought the first movie was awful because the characters are not casted right and other stuff, but please leave your opinion on the movie down below!!
I made this Collage, of the Factionless symbol that was worn on their Sleeves. In the Allegiant Movie.
And as you can see it's not the same as the Factionless Symbol in the books (Which is a "Circle")
What do you think the movie versions Symbol symbolises?
And what does it look like to you?
I was thinking maybe it's like an industrial thing, Or/Plus it kind of looks like a wheel (Or the top bit of a Windmill) Maybe it's representing, "Making things go round" "making things work" - Like the Factionless is what keeps thinks going round, and the Factionless do the most work?
What are your further thoughts? on this?
And which Factionless Symbol do you prefer?
- The Book one? (The Circle)
- Or the Movie one? (This one here)
***
... One this I only just noticed is that, this symbol is also in Insurgent, I used to this this symbol was designed for and at the time of Allegiant.
I took the picture - I only noticed it the other day.
This was right at the end of Insurgent, I wonder if it was suppose to be an ester egg for the next movie?
I just noticed this: on the poster (down below) it shows Tris and Four on top of some sort of building? (Correct me If I'm wrong.) So I just noticed, Tris is standing up, because she isn't afraid of heights. But Four, he is crouching because heights is one of the things he was afraid of. So, was this accidental, or they did this on purpose?
Me and my parents finished the movie, my dad fell asleep at the end
They enjoyed it though, my mom like yelled at the tv when Marcus showed up
For some reason, I don’t know why, but my dad didn’t like Caleb…he just said he looks like a dis likable person
I started to rewatch it, this time with my parents
They insulted Tris so much that we stopped watching it(they said she was and I quote a "not like other girls" girl)
Were going to continue today, hopefully they don't insult her so much

Can I watch the first movie when i have read the first book without spoilers or should i read the second book first?
*disclaimer: not my “big post”*
My grandma didn’t want to watch it this time, so just me and my aunt watched it. She really enjoyed Allegiant, but was confused about why the fringe looked like mars. She was glad to have her questions answered about divergence. I had to inform her at the end that Tris died, and she wishes they made a 4th film to tie it up. On a good not, I convinced my Aunt to begin to read the Divergent series because she wants to see more detail than the movies gave her, so I am excited for that!
So in the movie when Tobias executed Eric his blood supposibly splattered on Tris’s arm, she wipes her arm on her top but there’s no blood on her arm, even when I look closely. This wouldn’t of been hard to achieve during the making.
Did anybody notice this?
The fact that his blood wasn’t even visible on her arm?
(This was also in the book where Eric’s blood splattered on her arm)
