Anthony Howard "Tony" Goldwyn is an American actor and director. Goldwyn currently stars on ABC's television show, Scandal. He is known in the Divergent film universe for portraying Andrew Prior, the father of protagonist Tris Prior and her brother Caleb Prior in Divergent and the Insurgent
Early life[]
Born in Los Angeles, California to film producer Samuel Goldwyn Jr. and actress Jennifer Howard, Goldwyn attended Hamilton College in Clinton, New York, Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Brandeis University.
Career[]
Goldwyn is famed for playing Carl in Ghost and for playing an interior designer in Designing Women. He played Neil Armstrong in the miniseries From the Earth to the Moon and voiced Tarzan in the 1999 Tarzan film. He is best known for his role as Fizgerald Thomas Grant III on the abc drama "Scandal".
